About Us

Barry is Advertising Manager for EnergyCAP, Inc., where he manages company advertising including search engine campaigns, online directories, social media, client white papers, and print advertising. As the former Documentation Manager, he also oversees written help documentation for EnergyCAP, Inc. Barry has more than two decades of experience in communications, including eight years as a professor at Penn State.

Prior to joining EnergyCAP, Inc., he managed user and marketing documentation for CANNON Instrument Company, a scientific manufacturer. While working full-time for CANNON, Barry completed a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Regent University. He has a Bachelor in Music degree from Wheaton College (IL) and a Master’s degree in Music from the Hartt School of Music (University of Hartford).

His musical career included two years of professional performance with the South Dakota Symphony and the Dakota Wind Quintet; he currently performs as principle oboist with the Nittany Valley Symphony. He teaches Sunday School at Faith Baptist Church, where he also serves as church treasurer. Barry and his wife have five children. His hobbies include chess, reading, volleyball, tennis and racquetball.
