EnergyCAP® Professional

There are three steps in using the EPA eGrid Zip Code Lookup:

Step 1: In the Zip Code Lookup field, enter your zip code and click Next.

Step 2: Select the appropriate electric utility from the drop down list and click Next.

Step 3: Emission rates are shown in lbs/MWh. For your regions's CO₂ emission rate, use this value divided by 1,000 to provide the EnergyCAP emission rate unit of lbs/KWh (1,556 / 1,000 = 1.556 lbs/KWh).
