What is a GreenQuest sponsor?
A GreenQuest sponsor is any business or organization that acquires the right—through a sponsorship agreement—to promote a privately-branded GreenQuest website. The sponsor may promote its privately-branded GreenQuest website as outlined in the sponsorship agreement, with the intent of encouraging business-owners, homeowners, and tenants to establish individual GreenQuest accounts through the sponsor’s GreenQuest website. -
What types of organizations can sponsor a GreenQuest site?
GreenQuest can bring value to any type of organization, large or small, private, governmental, or non-profit. If your ‘audience’ (customers, tenants, constituents, etc.) includes business-owners or homeowners who receive utility bills, a sponsored GreenQuest site can be an effective marketing tool for you and a valuable free service for your customers. -
What are the options for an annual GreenQuest sponsorship?
There are two options for an annual GreenQuest sponsorship. The Basic Plan is free with a one-time setup fee of $495. The Premium Plan also has a one-time setup fee of $495 and an annual fee that varies by organization type. Please contact us for more information. -
What does the Basic Sponsorship include?
The Basic Sponsorship includes initial site setup and implementation, database hosting of a privately-branded landing page and GreenQuest application, unlimited number of user accounts and logins, ENERGY STAR ratings, and a variety of powerful GreenQuest features. -
What does the Premium Sponsorship include?
The Premium Sponsorship includes the Basic Sponsorship plus control of the ad-free message panel in the GreenQuest application, access to user data, technical support, and more. -
What is the background of the company that created GreenQuest?
EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) is the creator of GreenQuest. For more than 30 years, ECI has published the best selling energy management software for multi-site business, government and educational institutions. The software, called EnergyCAP® is currently used by over 1,000 organizations as an integral part of their energy management programs. GreenQuest users who wish to track more than one building can use EnergyCAP for their energy tracking needs. -
Can utility bills be automatically uploaded to GreenQuest to eliminate the need to enter the bills by hand?
Yes, if utility companies are cooperative. Dozens of EnergyCAP users upload electronic utility bill data daily. We can work with your local suppliers if you want to investigate this option. -
Can I see the data that my "audience" enters—it may be helpful for marketing and analysis?
Yes, Premium Plan sponsors can use the Sponsor Management Console to run reports on user accounts for data mining and identification of opportunities. Data is not available to Basic Plan sponsors. -
Who hosts our sponsored GreenQuest website?
Your GreenQuest database will be hosted in a commercial data center by EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI). ECI can also host your customized GreenQuest landing page, or you can design and host your own landing page, depending on your sponsorship agreement. -
Who designs our privately-labeled GreenQuest website?
EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) will set up your initial branded GreenQuest application and provide you with training to maintain the site post-launch. Your landing page—the first page your GreenQuest users see when they click the GreenQuest link on your primary website—may be designed by ECI, or you may design and host your own landing page, depending on your sponsorship agreement. -
What if I can’t provide my own graphics?
If you cannot provide your own graphics such as logo, website banner, and ads (type of graphics needed depend on your sponsorship agreement), GreenQuest provides design services. Please contact us for information. -
How long will it take to set up and launch my GreenQuest website?
You should expect your privately-branded GreenQuest website to launch within two weeks after EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) receives your site content (see Create Landing Page). If your organization designs and hosts your landing page, the development timeline may be much shorter. -
Who provides technical support to me and the users of my GreenQuest website?
EnergyCAP, Inc. (ECI) provides technical support to all sponsors and to Premium Plan users. If you need support, please contact us. Support is not available to Basic Plan users. -
How can my users and I submit comments and suggestions about GreenQuest?
We want your ideas and suggestions. Please submit them to us by using the "Feedback" tab within GreenQuest. While we cannot promise that all suggestions will be implemented, we do promise to review and consider each and every one in a timely fashion.
