Electronic Bills from Vendor
When data reformatters are necessary to receive electronic bills from vendors, there are two options: either we can create custom reformatters or our partner Xebec Data can provide a complete EDI solution.
Xebec Data's services include the following:
- mapping of EDI documents
- writing connection scripts
- testing delivery and receipt with partners
- providing and testing integration with EnergyCAP
- creating payments files to bank
- maintaining production maps
- monitoring program for errors
- providing updates and support as needed
- presenting your data for analysis.
Here’s a list of vendors from whom we currently receive EDI invoices. “Yes” means the vendor will distribute electronic invoices (810) but doesn't require electronic payment (820). In this situation you can benefit by the speed and accuracy of receiving your bills electronically, but you can also pay via check. This opens up EDI invoice options for many organizations that cannot pay electronically due to limitations in their A/P system or statutory or process/procedural restrictions.
