Terms
  • Online Registration – Current Users (your organization owns an EnergyCAP license) pay only $158 per person to cover the costs of meals, refreshments, internet connection and classroom rental over the two-day training.  Prospective Users (your organization is considering purchasing an EnergyCAP license) can attend for free.  Lunch and morning/afternoon refreshment breaks are included. Travel, lodging and breakfast/dinner are your responsibility (We'll cover the Wednesday Chaplain's Breakfast if you attend).  The registration form includes a survey to help us design the schedule around your areas of interest.
  • Hands-On Training – Ten hours of hands-on, exercise-based, in-depth training on all aspects of EnergyCAP Enterprise. Separate tracks for different levels of users.  Repeat sessions for popular topics are available (Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • Optional One-On-One Consultation – Meet with a member of the Technical Services Department for a one-on-one consultation (Thursday).
  • Open to ALL! – Both current EnergyCAP Enterprise users as well as prospective users are invited to attend. Bring as many attendees from your organization as you like.
  • Lodging – A block of rooms has been reserved at the Days Inn Penn State under the code "GSSW."  The block of rooms will be released to the public on March 26, so make your reservation early.  The event rate is $77 per night for a single room.  Government rates are also available.  A shuttle from the State College/University Park Airport (SCE) is available from the Days Inn when you call the hotel on the courtesy phone at the airport.  If you stay elsewhere, a rental car is recommended.  Other choices include:
  • Enterprise version only – The training is limited to EnergyCAP Enterprise version. It is not intended for users of EnergyCAP Professional version (used by U.S. public school districts and a few others); EnergyCAP Professional version will not be discussed.
  • Bring a Laptop – The training will be classroom-style seating, hands-on. You will be connected to EnergyCAP via an Internet connection. If more than one person from your organization attends, you can share one laptop. We have a limited number of laptops for rent, on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Rental fee is $50 for the two days.
  • Continuing Education Unit (CEU) – You will earn one CEU and receive a CEU training certificate. (The recognized national standard is one CEU per ten contact hours of participation in a responsible educational environment.)
  • Social Events – We'll host multiple social events so attendees can relax and unwind with other users and the Good Steward Software staff.

We hope to see you in State College for the Spring User Group Training!
