About Us

Steve is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of EnergyCAP, Inc.  Steve has thirty-five years of professional experience in energy accounting and engineering. He designed and supervised the development, testing, publication and support of EnergyCAP Enterprise, EnergyCAP Professional and FASER Energy Accounting.

Since 1980, these products have provided sophisticated energy accounting and analysis for more accounts, meters, buildings and clients than any other energy tracking system or service.

Steve specializes in Accruals, Weather, and Savings and Normalization.

Highlights of Steve’s experience prior to forming EnergyCAP, Inc. include:

• VP of Enron Energy Services; CEO and founder of Omnicomp, Inc., which he developed into the industry leader in energy information software; creator and author of FASER Energy Accounting software; CEO of Comprehensive Design Architects/Engineers (energy management analysis and architectural engineering design); Civil Engineering Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
• Steve serves on the boards of several organizations including: International Students, Inc., a worldwide Christian ministry to international students; ServiceU Corporation, a web-based leader in ticketing, event registration and calendaring; Global Capacity, and Calvary Baptist Church.
• Steve received his Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1980, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO in 1976, where he was the top graduate in Civil Engineering.  He’s a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and an AEE Certified Energy Manager.
