About Us

Steve is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EnergyCAP, Inc. He is a Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager with more than 35 years of professional experience in energy accounting software and mechanical and architectural engineering. He designed and supervised the development, testing, publication and support of EnergyCAP Enterprise, EnergyCAP Professional and FASER Energy Accounting.

Since 1980, these products have provided sophisticated energy accounting and analysis for more accounts, meters, buildings and clients than any other energy tracking system or service.

Steve is the subject matter expert in Accruals Manager, Weather Station Manager, and Cost Avoidance.

Highlights of Steve’s experience prior to forming EnergyCAP, Inc. include:

• VP of Enron Energy Services; CEO and founder of Omnicomp, Inc., which he developed into the industry leader in energy information software; creator and author of FASER Energy Accounting software; CEO of Comprehensive Design Architects/Engineers (energy management analysis and architectural engineering design); Civil Engineering Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
• Steve serves on the boards of several organizations including: International Students, Inc., a worldwide Christian ministry to international students; Global Capacity; and Calvary Baptist Church.
• Steve received his Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1980, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO in 1976, where he was the top graduate in Civil Engineering.  He’s a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and an AEE Certified Energy Manager.
