Catalyst in Pictures

medals-jd.pngToday is day three at Catalyst, EnergyCAP’s annual Training for Savings conference, and we thought we’d blog some of the pictorial highlights to give you an idea

of the experience

that we are providing this week in State College, Pennsylvania.

Over 150 valued clients are attending this year’s Olympic-themed Catalyst conference.

Catalyst attendees received their welcome swag and training schedule from smiling staffers at check-in Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

josh4.pngCatalyst trainers wore coaching shirts for their sessions, and the Tuesday morning keynote session featured a riveting presentation by Josh Davis, swimmer and 5-time Olympic medalist with three golds and two silvers. Josh had a busy two days at the Conference, speaking at the Tuesday keynote, then again at Wednesday’s devotional lunch.

Josh also presented at other local venues, including a swim coaching session with students from area schools.

The session introducing EnergyCAP’s upcoming HTML-based 4.0 software release was greeted enthusiastically by participants attending the opening keynote.

Conferees could also meet with developers “up close and personal” throughout the conference to provide feedback on the upcoming release.

Attendees were offered two distinct training experiences at Catalyst this year. There was a Beginners Hands-On training track that took participants on a tour through multiple EnergyCAP modules, and provided an overview of functionality with richly-documented best practices and procedures.

The remaining attendees attended a variety of topical sessions running concurrently in two additional tracks.

This year’s conference also offered sector breakouts where clients from similar organizations could share problems and solutions unique to their situations and processes.

As usual, the conference food was first-rate, and clients were able to continue building networking relationships over breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Happy Hour offered a chance for attendees and trainers to slow down and socialize…

Discussions were also continued offsite in unscheduled evening get-togethers—an important reminder that life is more than energy management software.

The closing keynote featured an EnergyCAP health checkup and interactive live survey.
