5 Energy Management & Sustainability Podcasts

Podcasts aren’t new. According to Wikipedia, podcasting—originally called “audioblogging”—began in the 1980s but really came to prominence 15–20 years ago. What is new is my obsession with podcasts. I may be late to the game, but I’m making up for lost time by listening daily to a wide range of podcasts that entertain and educate.

My research uncovered numerous energy management- and sustainability-focused podcasts. I list five of them below, along with their provided descriptions.

Beyond the Meter by Smart Energy Decisions
Beyond the Meter addresses timely topics of interest to executives responsible for renewable energy procurement and distributed energy resources at Fortune 1000 companies, higher education, and cities. Each episode delivers insights and information that listeners can use to make smarter energy decisions beyond the meter. You may also want to check out another Smart Energy Decisions podcast, Smart Energy Voices.
