Riverside County, CA Saves $96,000 Through EnergyCAP

Recently EnergyCAP received an email from Janet Purchase, the energy manager for Riverside County, CA.

According to Janet, the county’s energy management office has saved $96,000 in energy costs since implementing EnergyCAP seven months ago.

• First, the county received $48,000 in incentives from Southern California Edison and Southern California Gas Company for purchasing the software.
• Next, the energy management office went to work using EnergyCAP to audit their bills from Southern California Edison and other providers.
• After identifying and correcting problem utility bills, the county had saved another $48,000, bringing their total savings to $96,000 in just seven months.
