Project tracking

EnergyCAP project tracking feature helps you visualize, quantify, and report the energy and cost savings from your energy management projects. On the Energy Projects tab for any building in your hierarchy, record project information like the type, start and completion date, cost of the installation, rebates received, and the anticipated or actual energy and cost savings from the project. 

Once your energy project data is entered, it can be viewed independently or subtotaled at the organizational level. Automatic addition of energy projects to your energy use intensity (EUI) timeline clearly show the impacts to your energy profile.

Energy saving projects vary significantly between industries, locations, and by building use and type. Maybe you’re a hotel, government campus, higher education institution, business, or retailer who has lowered HVAC and lighting during periods of low occupancy. Perhaps you’re a manufacturer looking to optimize the timing and duration of equipment runs, or a utility implementing processes to ensure personnel switch off equipment in a timely manner.

No matter what industry you’re in, or how you do business, tracking the EUI impact of energy projects within your buildings is key to understanding, quantifying, and showcasing the results of your hard work.

The tracking feature automatically adds projects into EnergyCAP’s energy use intensity (EUI) graph, visualizing energy efficiency trends before, during, and after a project’s implementation and making it easy to see the positive impact to energy consumption at the facility level.
